Cathleen, with her husband John (Tammy) was one of the first residents to move into Crosier Court when it was built in 1962. She also taught at St. Mary’s Infant School, before it amalgamated with Holywell School.
Cathleen died aged 83 in Rogers House Care Home, Wigmore, on Wednesday 3rd July. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 30th July, firstly at 10:00am at the Garden of England Crematorium, Bobbing, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am in St. Matthew’s Church, Drewery Drive, Wigmore.
It is preferred there be family flowers only, but if anyone wishes to make a donation in her memory, Cathleen's preferred charity is The Children's Society. Cheques made payable to this can be sent to John Weir Funeral Directors, 130-132 High Street, Rainham, Kent ME8 8AR.
