Yesterday evening, the 4th of February our Annual Twinning Quiz Night was held in aid of our twinning with Ferques in France.
An excellent evening was enjoyed by all and over £500 was raised!
The school hall was used as the venue and a lot of people worked hard, both preparing for it and again on the evening.
We were very pleased to welcome the Chairman and his wife from our twin village, who made the journey just to be with us.
The proceeds will go to our village twinning funds and will be used to host the visit of the French children when they come to us in June, and to send Holywell school children over to Ferques later in the year for their annual return visit.
