Cars parked in The Street, Upchurch were targeted by thieves overnight - Tuesday 17th October.
1. The rear door of a locked car, parked in the lay-by opposite The Crown was damaged when it was forced open and the cars contents rummaged through.
2. An unlocked car parked in The Street also had its contents rummaged through.
Both incidents have been reported to Kent Police.
Residents are advised to keep their vehicles locked and alarmed whenever possible.
