Co-op Membership - Earn rewards for you and your community
1% for your community
The Co‑op gives 1% of everything you spend on selected Co-op branded products and services from Co-op Group businesses, including their food stores and funeral homes, to community projects selected by Co‑op stores near your home. You can choose which cause your own 1% goes to. If you don't, it's shared out between the causes of your nearest Co‑op.
5% for you
When you buy selected products and services from Co-op Group businesses, including their food stores and funeral homes, The Co‑op put 5% of what you spend into your Co-op Membership account.
In April The Co-op celebrated giving a fantastic £9m back to 4,000 local causes.
Since then they’ve welcomed another 4,000 local causes and have been supporting them to make great things happen in their communities.
From today, Wednesday the 28th of June more local causes can apply for the next round of funding.
And this time it will be even bigger and better as members will be able to give their 1% for 11 months from November 2017 to October 2018.
That means more money for them and more time for the Co-op to get to know them.
How local causes can apply
Go to: www.coop.co.uk/causes. Closing date is Tuesday the 8th of August 2017.
