Residents voted in The Kent County Council Election on Thursday the 4th of May 2017. Turnout in Swale West was low again, just 31.6%.
Kent has 1.5 million residents and KCC are responsible for providing many of our valued and essential services and amenities.
The results in the Swale West Division which includes Upchurch are:
Mike Baldock - UK Independence Party 2,040
Tim Valentine - Green Party 120
Mike Whiting - Conservatives 2,159
Marc Wilson - Liberal Democrats 228
Tony Winckless - Labour 495
Conservative, Mike Whiting has been elected as Kent County Councillor.
The Conservative group has maintained control of Kent County Council.
Voters in Medway will not go to the polls until May 2019.
