The November Meeting of W.I. is our Annual Meeting where we summarise the events of the past year, receive the audited accounts, and elect our new Committee. We are very pleased to have a full complement of ten members on Committee this year without having to "twist any arms!" Several of them are first timers who will bring new ideas and some rejuvenation to our organisation. Karen Taylor is our new President and Wendy Pitts will continue as Secretary.
After the business meeting members enjoyed four varieties of homemade soup and crusty bread for supper.
Thank you to all those people who supported us at the Silent Auction which was a joint effort with the Wives Group, and raised over £770.00 for the Village Hall.
We are always happy to welcome prospective new members - the rules say that you can attend three meetings free before deciding whether or not it's for you so what have you got to lose?
