Dear Parents/Carers,
Are you or anyone you know interested in a career as a teacher?
We have partnered with the East Kent Learning Alliance and Canterbury Christ Church University to offer the opportunity to train to teach through non- salaried places in Primary Education via the Train to Teach Schools Direct Course. Bursaries are available for non-salaried positions (details available upon request).
From September 2018 we can offer two graduates a place on the course. You will be fully supported throughout the whole process by our excellent teaching staff and through professional development from the East Kent Learning Alliance.
Ideally you would have graduated with a 1st or Upper 2nd class degree. This can be in any subject area. You must have GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science. You will also need to sit and pass the Professional Skills Tests required to embark on the Train to Teach Schools Direct Course.
If you are interested, please see the attached flyer with details about how to apply and the process of the Train to Teach Schools Direct course. Alternatively, please contact the School Office.
You are also more than welcome to visit our school for a tour and to see the school in action. Please contact the School Office for details.
Yours sincerely,
