Church Clock
The clock needed a software upgrade because of the change in the National Radio Signal and this has been has carried out. A stone mason had been contacted for the centenary memorial plaque for the other side of the church door, but was unable to give a quotation as he does not work in limestone. Another stone mason has been found who will be able to replicate the original plaque.

Tenders are being invited for upgrading the streetlights and permission is being sought to take out a loan for the project.
Highways
There has been a change in the nature of traffic going through the village, many drivers cut through to the Lower Rainham Road especially when the A2 is blocked. A speed survey will be carried out in Horsham Lane.
