An Invitation to the Friends Of The Church Of St. Mary The Virgin, Upchurch - AGM

This is an invitation to members AND non-members to attend

the Annual General Meeting of this Charity on Monday, October 31st at

7:00pm in the Church.

After a short A.G.M we have a talk with the title “Who do you think you are … John Peek” This person is remembered within the church but it would be nice to know more than just his name. The talk will be given by Jo Hammond who studied History at University and whom I met when she worked at Swale Borough Council. Her talk will help in informing us of a little more of the history of the church - an objective of this charity.

Wine and nibbles will be available after the talk.

The aims of the charity are to support the maintenance and 

repair of this 700 year old listed building.

The Trustees look forward to seeing you at the A.G.M.
