Interference with the CO-OP ATM
An ATM at the CO-OP Store, The Street, Upchurch, was interfered with sometime before 10 a.m. on Tuesday 14th of June.
Kent Police Neighbourhood Watch.
A card was withheld from its owner and money was taken from the account elsewhere later on.
Police crime-reduction advice, when using an ATM, is always check that there is nothing wrong with the machine, before using it. Check around the insert slot in particular, to ensure a false front has not been stuck on to the machine. If in doubt, do not use the ATM.
