Thank You from Foodbank Co-ordinator Gill Gay and Swale Foodbank

Dear All,

Ron and I are sorry we weren't there to greet you on Wednesday but thank you for still turning up.

This time of year there are many calls on your hard-earned money, but still, you came and gave generously to those who are struggling to feed their families and themselves. I did note a few Christmassy bits too - thankyou.

This Christmas will be extremely hard for a lot of families and we are aware that even you may struggle with rising food and energy costs. So with that in mind, we thank you for your sacrificial giving.

Of course, this time of year is all about giving as we look forward to celebrating the greatest gift mankind has ever received. 'Emmanuel' which means God with us. God was born as a baby, into not the best human experience, but into a dirty old stable, so he could walk with us in our everyday (not always the best experience) lives.

Bless you, all for your kindness which we will ask you once more to display as we wait in the lay-by opposite St Mary's Church on Wednesday the 8th of December between 10:30am and 11:30am.

This will be our last collection before Christmas. God willing, our first one in January 2022 will be on Wednesday the 12th of January.

Thank you, and God bless you ❤️

Gill & Ron Gay
