MPA NHS Medway CCG - Evening and Weekend GP Appointments Available from 1st October 2018

Improving Access to General Practice

Primary Care Hubs

Evening and weekend appointments are now available across Medway.

From Monday 1st October 2018, you will be able to book an appointment to see a GP in the evening or at the weekend at a local Primary Care Hub.

Later in the year, you will also be able to book with a nurse or other healthcare professional.

You will need to book an appointment to be seen at a Primary Care Hub.

Appointments must be booked via your own GP surgery in the same way as you would usually book an appointment.

You can book an appointment with your usual GP surgery reception team for a same day appointment, or up to two weeks ahead.

Appointments cannot be booked directly at the Primary Care Hubs.

Emergency Road Closure - Hollow Lane, Hartlip

It will be necessary to close Hollow Lane, Hartlip from Thursday 4th October 2018 for up to 2 Days.
 
The road will be closed from the junction of The Street and Lower Hartlip Road.
 
The alternative route is via Lower Hartlip Road, Munns Lane and The Street.
 
This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by KCC Highways.

New Play Equipment Coming to The Paddock Play Area


The Parish Council is pleased to report that it has secured a grant of £9805.00 from The Big Lottery Fund for the Paddock Play Area.

Councillors are currently liaising with a contractor to install some exciting new play equipment for the children.

Emergency Road Closure - Spade Lane, Hartlip

It will be necessary to close Spade Lane, Hartlip from Thursday 27th September 2018 for up to 5 Days.

The road will be closed outside 1-8 New Acres.

The alternative route is via Meresborough Lane, South Bush Lane and London Road.
 
This is to enable Electrical Connection to be installed by UK Power Networks.

Arrest Made After Thefts from Sheds in Newington


Hartlip, Newington & Upchurch Ward

Crime Number: XY/060511/18

At 10:30pm on Friday 21st of September, various items were stolen from sheds in Pear Tree Walk, Newington.

Police made an arrest and returned the property to its rightful owners.
