NOTICE OF ANNUAL PARISH MEETING 

FOR UPCHURCH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT -

The Annual Assembly of the Parish Meeting for Upchurch will be held at Upchurch Scout Hut on 

Thursday 12^th April 2018 at 7:00pm

Local Government electors for the Parish will be entitled to vote at the Meeting which will be open to the public. 

The business to be transacted at the Meeting will be as follows:-

1. Minutes of the last Annual Parish Meeting held on 20^th April 2017

2. Matters Arising from the minutes

3. Report of the Chairman of Upchurch Parish Council

4. To receive reports from local organisations

5. Presentation of the KALC Community Award

6. To receive questions and comments from parishioners.

Light refreshments will be served at the end of the meeting.

David Shuying and Rebecca Chau Retiring from Upchurch Fish Bar

David Shuying and Rebecca Chau will be retiring later this month from Upchurch Fish Bar, after 26 years service to the community.

Wishing their family all the best for the future and a BIG thank you from everyone for all you have done.

They will both be very much missed, for sure!

New owner, Mr Singh takes over the business soon, which residents will be pleased to hear is to continue as a Fish & Chip Shop.

Ist Upchurch Scout Group - Paper Drive

To all Upchurch residents,

It is with regret that we write to say that Saturday the 9th of June will be the last ever collection for the Upchurch Scouts Paper Drive.

With the advent of both the internet and recycling, the paper drive is no longer profitable and we have therefore taken the decision to end the collections.

We would like to thank all of the residents, both past and present, who have contributed to the Scouts Paper Drive and are extremely grateful for your support and loyalty.

April collection - Saturday the 14th of April 2018

May collection - Saturday the 12th of May 2018

Last Paper Drive - Saturday the 9th of June 2018
