Upchurch Cricket Club Vs Upchurch Football Club and Upchurch Colts FC - Charity Football Matches - Amount Raised and Thank you

Sponsored by:
We had an excellent day which comprised of a Colts football match, dads v dads and Upchurch Saturday FC Vs Upchurch Sunday FC with some of the Colts dads and some cricketers joining both sides.

The result of the senior game was 6 - 5  to the Sunday team and the pick of the goals was Pete Sage’s sublime chip, in the same class as Beckham and Rooney!

The Colts game, a mixture of Under 9s, 10s and 11s was drawn 4 - 4 and the dads game ended at 5 - 2, plus a few injuries!

With generous donations from players and spectators, we raised a grand total of £1001.30 for the Air Ambulance. Our target was £1000

Steve Parker would like to thank Upchurch Colts FC, Upchurch Saturday & Sunday teams, Harry Playford for refereeing and Upchurch CC for their generosity and participation.

We look forward to seeing you all next year.

Thank you
