Dave did an excellent job keeping the events (almost) to schedule and promoting all the activities going on whilst Alex sorted all the music for our live singers and ensured we could all hear Dave!!!!

We have been receiving excellent feedback, but would welcome some constructive thoughts on what went well, what could be done differently etc so please look out for a feedback opportunity via Upchurch Matters over the next few days.

Thank You, On Behalf of

Sara, Ray, Pat, Chris, Terry, Val and John.

Maypole Dance at the Upchurch Village Fete Day 2014.

This year the old Village Maypole was found, restored and danced around again at the Village Fete Day. Possibly for the fist time in some 15 years.

The day was also part of the Village World War One Centenary Commemorations.

Thanks very much to Max Lee for kindly allowing us to post his video.
