Upchurch Matters 'The Website for Upchurch Village' has relaunched under NEW ownership and is now bigger and better than ever ! We've got a fresh NEW look and have added lots of NEW pages with useful information and interactive features to make it 'The place to visit online for all things Upchurch'

We've updated our popular picture gallery pages of  Old Upchurch  and have added many new  Present Day  pictures taken from around the village to. Wildlife around the village is currently waking up from the cold winter so we've put together a new  Spring Gallery here.  Also worth a mention is our NEW Page on  the brief history of Upchurch.

The latest Village news is now carried on our brand NEW Notice Board Blog Page, (the one you're reading now) this will be updated regularly and we are interested in hearing from anyone with village news items that think would be of interest to others. You can  contact us  about them  here.

There's other NEW features to, like our NEW interactive  Village Diary Page,  where we will be encouraging all the village groups and organisations to regularly add their upcoming events. For ease we've now listed them all now to.  They're here.


The village Hall gets its  own page  now with contact details and a gallery.


With the NEW quick links on our homepage (you will have seen these already) we've bought together all the most commonly searched for Upchurch related websites links and info, so you can quickly and easily find all things Upchurch related. Just remember to 'Start at Upchurch Matters'

And Finally is what we believe is the most exciting feature of the NEW Upchurch Matters and that's our new  Classified Advertisements Section.  We’re looking to help boost and support businesses in and around the Upchurch area by encouraging local people to 'Try them first'. 


We’ve looked around at all other advertising options for local businesses in the area and think our rates are very competitive. Upchurch Farmers Market

Buy fresh local produce on the day.

The first monthly Upchurch Farmers Market will be celebrated with a grand opening fete and is due to take place on Sunday the 26th June in the village hall. Following markets will be on the fourth Sunday in each month and the opening times are as follows:

Summer months: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Winter months:   10:00 am to 1:00 pm

A wide range of local produce and crafts will all be on offer from the stalls on the day, all at very competitive prices. Hot and cold refreshments will also be available to.
